MacPractice 2.0 Offers 20 New Features For Doctors

MacPractice Inc. will on March 1 release version 2.0 of its healthcare practice management applications for physicians, chiropractors and dentists. The upgrades offer such features as the ability to attach files of any type to patientsi records, integration with MYOB and QuickBooks for sending deposit ticket information and color-coded templates for office schedules.

MacPractice MD for physicians starts at US$2,000 for a single user, while the dentist and chiropractor versions start at $1,500. Networked versions are $500 per five users, and scheduling, e-claims and Perio charting modules are $500 each. MySQL is required.
