MacPractice DDS Interfaces with Digital X-ray Equipment

MacPractice announced the immediate availability on Monday of their all Mac interface to PLANMECA Panoramic and Cephalometric digital X-ray equipment and PLANMECA digital sensors via Ethernet.

"MacPractice DR is the first fully integrated, digital radiography solution for Mac users, and now it works directly with some of the finest products available to dentists from PLANMECA" said Mark Hollis, President of MacPractice. "We have collaborated with PLANMECA developers to provide the first complete Mac digital X-ray solution for dentists."


MacPractice is also working with several other developers to offer a variety of best of class Mac native sensor and phosphor plate solutions. MacPractice DR is designed to work with every popular PC digital x-ray solution as well, Mr. Hollis added.

The MacPractice DR/PLANMECA solution is priced at US$2,500 plus an annual support and updates fee of $200, providing an office with the same number of simultaneous users of MacPractice DR as they have a license for MacPractice DDS.
