MacPractice Inc. on Monday announced that later this year it will add MacPractice DR to its MacPractice DDS dental practice management software. The new "integrated ability" will add support for digital radiography, giving dentists access to both sensor and phosphor plate technologies for viewing x-rays.
MacPractice also plans to add tooth charting functionality to the software in the first half of next year. Through Nov. 15, the develop is offering introductory pricing for its software, starting at US$1.500 for a single user. Networked versions are $500 more per five users. The Scheduling, EClaims and Perio Charting options are $500 each. MySQL is required and can be purchased from MacPractice for $250 per office.
