Mireth Technology announced the immediate availability of MacVCD X 4.5.3 on Wednesday. The updated version runs natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. MacVCD X plays media files from several different formats including VCD, SVCD, AVI, DivX, MPEG, Quicktime movies, Karaoke VCD, and Photo VCD. It is available for download at the Mireth Technology Web site, and is priced at US$19.95.
