Mac Design Conference & Expo Announces Film Fest To Compliment Event

The Mac Design Conference & Expo has announced a new competition during this years conference, the First Annual Mac Design Film Festival. The festival will feature mock Apple ads created entirely on Apple video products, and will be judged during the Expo. According to Mac Design Conference & Expo :

Budding producers and directors have the opportunity to flaunt their skills and win the First Annual Mac Design Film Festival, organizers from Mac Design Magazine announced today. The Film Festival, which will be held as part of the Mac Design Conference & Expo in Chicago, June 2-4, 2004, will showcase the digital video talents of conference attendees through their unique versions of an Apple commercial.

To qualify, entrants must submit a mock Apple commercial advertising any Apple product or service. Films must be made predominantly on a Macintosh computer and should be no longer than two minutes. Selected submissions will be screened and judged by a panel of experts comprised of Mac Design Conference attendees and instructors during the last conference session on June 4.
