Mac Gets 80’s New Wave Props With Human League Cameo

Australian IT has reported a Mac sighting at the Here and Now 80is music festival last week. The 80is New Wave band Human League were seen displaying an Apple laptop on stage during their set. From the article:

On the evidence presented to Open Source last week at 1980s music fest Here and Now, the humble computer has finally taken its rightful place in the pantheon of rock ini roll - or at least pop music.

While all bands these days use computers in the studio and many do so for stage shows, they are usually hidden away ? to maintain the illusion, no doubt.

But sitting in pride of place on the sensationally minimalist set of electro-pop legends Human League was a gleaming Apple laptop, flouro green logo and all.
