Macromedia Announces Details Of October Web Developers’ Conference

On Monday, Macromedia announced the details of their DevCon 2000 conference for web developers. The conference takes place in October and features over 100 workshops, certification testing and technical support, as well as a visit from Web usability expert, Jakob Nielsen. According to the Macromedia press release:

DevCon 2002 features more than 100 in-depth workshop and hands-on sessions that cover everything from basic web development to the most advanced techniques for building rich Internet applications with all of the Macromedia products. Attendees will have access to Macromedia engineers, leaders from the development community, and industry experts as well as a range of opportunities to connect with other designers and developers from around the world. As part of the event, Macromedia will also be hosting a special eLearning conference, giving attendees a unique opportunity to explore the latest products and strategies for implementing effective, cost-efficient online learning solutions.

The conference will be held over October 27th-30th at the Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin. If you register before August 27th, the registration price is US$895 -- after that, youill be paying $1050.
