Macron software released today ABDialer, a phone dialer for Mac OS X Address Book.

ABDialer is a smart software utility to automate the process of dialing phone numbers stored on the Mac OS X Address Book contacts. With a single click, it can dial the phone, avoiding the user to manually type phone numbers. No more misspelled numbers, just pick up the phone and talk. To perform this task, ABDialer can use any standard modem or mobile phone connected to the Macintosh and, optionally, it can play touch-tones directly to the phone using the computer speaker.

ABDialer provide various customization options, including the ability to show the ABDialer Menu in the main menu bar. With this option enabled, ABDialer make available the full phonebook in the main menu, permitting the user to dial the phone without leave the application currently in use. To be compatible with any phone type (mobile or standard) and with country phone rules for all the world, ABDialer use an exclusive technology to rearrange phone numbers, de-prefixing them if necessary.

You can find more information about the ABDialer release at the Macron Software Web site. ABDialer is available for US$10.00.
