Macworld Announces MacIT Conference Sessions

Macworld announced the MacIT Conference sessions for Macworld 2006 on Wednesday. The three day workshops will cover automating IT workflows, Mac forensics, network privacy requirements, and more. The full list of sessions includes:

    Automating Your IT Workflows with Apple Remote Desktop Apple product managers Sal Soghoian and Nadir Nafissi will teach admins how to automate their workflow using Automator and Apple Remote Desktop.
    Mac OS X Forensics When things go bump in the night, what do you do to protect important evidence coming from a compromised Mac OS X laptop or server? Taught by Derrick Donnelly.
    From Chime to Desktop Understanding all of the under-the-cover happenings when you start up a Mac is a fundamental troubleshooting skill that is covered in Edward Marczakis session.
    SOX, HIPAA, GLB and the Mac Sysadmin Mac networking expert, John Welch, will present how privacy regulatory compliance is a huge area of concern for big companies and what technologies can be used to ease the task.
    Adding a Cluster or Rendering Farm to Your Computing Infrastructure Taught by Apple product managers Matt MacInnis and Doug Brooks, this session will discuss the various technologies that make up a cluster system, which ones are recommended by Apple for Xserve G5 and Mac OS X Server, and how users can go about integrating cluster technology into their existing workflows.

Macworld 2006 runs from January 9 through January 13, 2006, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Additional Expo and conference information is available at the Macworld web site.
