Macworld Expo Launches Michael Bartosh MacIT Scholarship

· by · News

Macworld Conference and Expo vice president, Paul Kent, has established the Michael Bartosh MacIT Scholarship Fund in memory of the late Michael Bartosh. The purpose of the scholarship is to allow "a network engineering student to come to MacIT and hopefully spark their imagination to carry Michaelis torch and build the seamless, easy to use networks that enable people to communicate he was so passionate about."

The scholarship will be available to a University or College-age Network Engineering student.

Mr. Bartosh was considered one of the top experts in Mac OS X Server administration. He spoke regularly at Macworld Expo and Appleis World Wide Developer Conference, and worked as a network administration consultant for clients around the world. Mr. Bartosh died while in Tokyo earlier this month.

Macworld Expo is accepting donations for the scholarship now. Additional information is available at the Macworld Expo Web site.
