W elcome to Macworld CreativePro. The New York show officially kicked off on Monday when the conference sessions started, but the Expo portion of the show kicks off today. While many are used to Steve Jobs launching the show with a keynote address, this yearis New York show, the last Macworld scheduled to be in New York, will begin with a "feature presentation" by Greg Joswiak The feature presentation begins at 9:30 Eastern (8:30 Central).

Mr. Joswiak is Appleis vice president of hardware product, and the executive tasked with addressing public concerns about Appleis Power Mac G5 claims. It is not expected that Apple will be announcing new products at todayis event, but one never knows what will happen where Apple is concerned. The rumor sites have suggested possible new 15" PowerBooks, which have grown long in the tooth, and we have also seen new Xserves suggested, but weill believe it when we see it.
