RogueSheep announced the immediate availability of Magma 1.0 for InDesign CS and CS2 on Tuesday. The InDesign plug-in takes advantage of Mac OS X 10.4is Core Image tools allowing real-time, nondestructive effects to be applied to images directly in InDesign. You can choose from the 100 effects included with Tiger, or from any third-party Image Units you install. Built-in effects include color adjustment, blur, tile, star burst, and more. Magma requires Mac OS X 10.4.1 or higher, and is available for download at the RogueSheep Web site. It is priced at US$50.
