System Support Products Inc. on Tuesday released Mail Forward 3.0, the latest version of its utility for forwarding e-mail from AOL, Googleis Gmail, Hotmail, MSN and Yahoo e-mail accounts, in addition to e-mail from standard POP mail accounts, to another e-mail address. This update adds forwarding for Gmail accounts, changes the access method for Hotmail and MSN so that all free accounts can be forwarded and changes the AOL access method to use AOL Open Access, which is an IMAP protocol.

In addition, Mail Forward 3.0 now supports SSL (Secure Socket Layer) connections for POP and SMTP servers, enables rearranging of entries in the E-mail Accounts list by dragging them and adds an Enable This Account option that can disable forwarding for an account without requiring its deletion.

Owners of previous versions of Mail Forward can upgrade for US$10. The full version is $19.95, with a 30-day free trial available. Mac OS X v10.1 and a G3 processor are required.
