MakeMusic announced the immediate availability of the music notation application, Finale 2007, on Monday. The new version is a Universal Binary application, allowing it to run natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. It creates and formats parts while a score is created, dynamically links score parts, uses KONTAKT Player 2 for playback, supports integrated video, and more.

Finale 2007 is priced at US$600, and upgrades from previous versions start at $99.
