Mandolux Posts New Desktops

· by Mike Washlesky · News

Mandolux has released new desktops for download today. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent anywhere from abstract imagery to dual monitor desktop configs. According to Mandolux:

Mandolux has issued four Vector-based (Abstract/Techno), one Bonzai/Taran (Nature), and one Asiana (Art)

  • There is a new killer Vector-based dual giant desktop titled Poddies. A techno-induced mix of abstract and surreal vector-based objects and patterns combined with snippets of an iPod. The inspiration of this desktop came from the wonderful short article in the UK version of MacWorld titled ?iPod ithreatens marriagesi? (January 26). This is a must-download!
  • The latest Bonzai/Taran desktop is titled Maiya and it is a photograph of an orchid in full broom and with a dark background
  • Lastly, the newest Asiana desktop is a close-up photo of the head of a Buddha (circa 450) made from sandstone from the Uttar Pradesh region in India

You can find more information about the new desktops at the Mandolux Web site. The desktops are available as free downloads.
