Mandolux Posts New Desktops

· by Mike Washlesky · News

Mandolux has released new desktops for download today. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent anywhere from abstract imagery to dual monitor desktop configs. According to Mandolux:

Mandolux has issued eight new desktops: four iPark (parody of the iPod commercials and South Park), one Vector-based (Abstract), two Impressionism ][ (Art), and one Morning (Nature) wallpaper. In other news, there is a new facelift to the website titled BW.

About the desktops:

In celebration of the new season of South Park on Comedy Central this Wednesday (October 22), I present you with a parody of the new Apple iPod ads titled iPark. You see four characters from the series carrying an iPod with a different color background for each

Last week while I was in a forum, someone remind me of a desktop I did a long time ago and it turns out I had lost it from my own website – that desktop, SATELLITE, is now once again available online

There is a new Impressionist work titled Waiting (1880-82) by Edgar Degas. This is a detail view of one of the subjects in the painting

Lastly, there is a new Morning desktop titled Morning Bee – a photograph of a bee in mid-flight gathering pollen from a tiny blue flower. There is also a blur-out Lady Bug lost on one of the leafs

You can find more information about the new desktops at the Mandolux Web site. The desktops are available as free downloads.
