Mandolux Posts New Desktops

Mandolux has released new desktops for download today. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent anywhere from abstract imagery to dual monitor desktop configs. According to Mandolux:

mandolux has issued four new desktops this week: one Technosis/Anthraxis 2K4 (Abstract) and three Bubbles (Nature/Macro).

My latest desktop is a new Technosis/Anthraxis 2K4 titled LA Woman - mainly a long-exposure with movement photograph of a woman making a phone call while waiting for the train. As you’ll see in the desktop, I tried to create the effect of multiple exposures in the same photo (but I kept that at a minimum)

Lastly, on Monday I issued REFRACTED/BUBBLE- a close-up photograph of a few bubbles being refracted by light and set against a black background. This monstrosity of a desktop is available in giant and dual monitor sets. Another things about this desktop: the regular version has two vertical lines - these lines were created by the lighting and reflections (I was using mirrors to illuminate the oval-shaped glass jug containing the bubbles). Too bad I wasnit able to align them to the center for a better composition. But still, this is a killer desktop!

You can find more information about the new desktops at the Mandolux Web site. The desktops are available as free downloads.
