Mandolux has released new desktops for download today. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent anywhere from abstract imagery to dual monitor desktop configs. According to Mandolux:
I would like to inform you that mandolux has issued this week six new desktops: one Fire REDUX (Flames/Nature), one Bonzai/Taran (Nature), and four Japanese Prints (Vector).
About the desktops:
- There is a new killer Fire REDUX desktop titled Della. This is a slow-shutter photograph with movements that creates the sensation that you are between the flames. At the same time, the composition shows the various aspects of the photograph: the floor enveloped in a sea of fire, the rising flames, and because this photo was taken a night, a dark background that intensifies the effect of the wallpaper on the user. This is one of my best works!
- The latest Bonzai/Taran is titled Leiko and it is a photograph of the back of a hairy orchid in a desolate Japanese garden
- Lastly, a new sub-theme for my Japanese Art section: Vector-based Japanese Prints. The desktop set is titled Ayame and it is available in Giant (1920x1200), Dual Monitor and regular setups. This is a desktop that has a few detailed that are discovered with close inspection: one of them is the cloth pattern on her dress
