Mapwing Creator Pro 1.6 Now Universal Binary

Redbug Technologies announced the immediate availability of Mapwing Creator Pro 1.6 on Tuesday. The updated version of the virtual tour creation application is now Universal Binary capable of running natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs. It also supports high-resolution tours with up to 1,000 location points, create tour-linking hotspots, export Flash-based tours that run locally or server-side, and more. Mapwing Creator Pro 1.6 is available at the Redbug technologies Web site, and is priced at US$295. The update is free for current version 1 users.

The company also released Mapwing Creator 1.0 on Tuesday. This version limits the maximum number of location points to 20, limits image map size to 1024x1024, view resolution to 800x600, and caps the maximum map size to 500 feet x 500 feet. It is available for download at the Redbug Technologies Web site, and is priced at US$39.
