· by · News

MaxUpgrades announced the immediate availability of its max_flow main memory cooling system for Appleis Mac Pro computer on Thursday. The fan-based system draws heat away from the memory modules to help prevent overheating and ECC errors.

Separate fans attach to the upper and lower memory riser cards, and the lower riser fans deflect heat away from the upper riser. The upper memory riser fan requires at least one DIMM module with an Apple heat sink, and the lower riser fans are compatible with all DIMM modules.

max_flow for the Mac Pro is available at the MaxUpgrades Web site. The upper riser fan is priced at US$45, and an upper/lower riser fan set costs $79.
