Maxprog Updates Web Dumper With Improved File Handling

Maxprog has released an update for Web Dumper, bringing it to version 1.7. Web Dumper is a download tool designed for downloading complete Web pages, including embedded sounds and pictures for offline viewing. The update features new performance enhancements including improved file handling. According to Maxprog:

Maxprog is proud to present another update of its web tool product named iWeb Dumperi a full featured internet tool that allows users to download web sites for offline browsing.

Whatis new in this release?

  • File size rules allowing user to discard files depending on customized size ranges
  • File handler in order to set if existing files have to be overwritten, skipped or renamed
  • Downloaded site Folder hierarchy can be rebuild or file can be saved on the same folder
  • New cookies, e-mail addresses, URLs, contents and transaction logs
  • Long filename support on Mac OS X
  • Better HTML tag processing to allow bad formatted HTML code parsing
  • Links extraction from Javascript code
  • Download queue list resizable columns
  • Resizable Dump window
  • i.cfmi file added to map
  • i.ppti file added to map
