Melbourne Museum Hosts Apple History Display

The Melbourne Museum in Australia is hosting a new display called The Apple Effect in conjunction with the Internet Macintosh User Group. The display is part of the museumis Community Collections Exhibition, and features a replica of the original Apple I computer, a working Lisa, an Apple II, collections of games and peripherals, and various Macs up through the latest models.

The exhibit shows how Apple has changed the computer industry, and explains how the company impacted personal computing, publishing, imaging, video, and audio. The exhibition runs through December 30, 2006, and iMug is offering a series of podcasts to listen to while viewing the displays.
