Melonsoft Update PianistEnvy With Rollover Support

Melonsoft has released an update for PianistEnvy, bringing it to version 1.1. PianistEnvy is a music creation utility designed for desktop keyboard piano playing. The update adds rollover support and adds tooltips for new users. According to Melonsoft:

Melonsoft today announced PianistEnvy 1.1, an update to their 120+ instrument keyboard application.

PianistEnvy allows anyone with a Mac and QuickTime™ to instantly unleash 120 crystal-clear instruments built-into Appleis QuickTime™ software. Each note can be extensively manipulated through the Octave, Pressure
and Duration controls. If you find the "point and click" approach to piano playing tedious, simply use your Macis keyboard as an alternative.

The new release improves on PianistEnvyis usability with the advent of the Rollovers feature. Rollovers allow the piano keys to be played with a quick drag of the mouse, instead of clicking each one individually. PianistEnvy can also still be played via your Macis keyboard.

Also seen in this release are helpful tooltips to help new users pickup PianistEnvyis already easy-to-use features.

You can find more information about the PianistEnvy update at the Melonsoft Web site. PianistEnvy 1.1 is available for US$5.00.
