Melonsoft has released an update for BubbleDrum, bringing it to version 1.2. BubbleDrum is designed as a free-form electronic drum machine. The update features simplified drumming and other enhancements. According to Melonsoft:

Macintosh developer Melonsoft, today announced BubbleDrum 1.2--an update to their shareware free-form drum machine for MacOS X/9.

The new release features many improvements to allow for easier drumming, including more-natural drum resizing and a new "Stage" popup menu with helpful shortcuts for various BubbleDrum Stage functions.

BubbleDrum effectively incorporates power and functionality with a friendly, familiar user interface. This allows musicians as well as hobbyists and children to quickly begin jamming on their own custom drum set.

BubbleDrumis work space is contained in an area known as the Stage. From the Stage, users can create drums, arrange them, and set their numerous properties such as size and color. Drums can either be clicked visually with the mouse, or played via an assigned keybind on your computeris keyboard.

You can find more information about the BubleDrum update at the Melonsoft Web site. BubbleDrum 1.2 is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$10.00.
