Metafy Updates Anthracite With Delimiter Controls

Metafy LLC has released an update for Anthracite, bringing it to version 1.0.5. Anthracite is a utility designed for Web based data mining. The update features Array enhancements and delimiter character control. According to Metafy LLC:

Anthracite is the ultimate collection of Web mining power tools combined in an easy-to-use graphical environment that lets you quickly and seamlessly extract data from Internet sources, modify it to suit your needs, and export it to templates or databases as part of your daily workflow.

New features include:

  • Extract Arrays - configurable to enable the user to specify exactly what array results they wish to keep, (eg, "Rows 5 to 20 from Table 2")
  • Default Delimiter - Application wide preference for controlling the delimiter character used with array results
  • Among the updated features is the ability to extract rows and columns from HTML tables which contain subtables
