Microsoft Updates Virtual PC 7, AutoUpdate

Microsoft today released an update to Virtual PC 7 as well as an update to Microsoft AutoUpdate, its software update system for Office 2004.

Virtual PC 7.0.1, a 16.4MB update, "improves overall stability of Virtual PC and other issues affecting customers who are running Virtual PC on Power Mac G5 computers with more than 2GB of memory."

Microsoft AutoUpdate 1.1.2, available your current versions of AutoUpdate, enables the software to download future updates.

Microsoft Office 2004 sells for $399, or $499 with Virtual PC 7. Virtual PC 7 is also available on its own for $129 to $249 depending on the bundled OS configuration.
