Pandromeda Inc. has announced a free update to its MojoWorld 3 rendering and animation software. Version 3.1 adds native support for files created with e-frontieris Poser 3D figure design tool, including support for all features in Poser 5 as well as Poser 6 "stranded hair" materials.
This upgrade also offers MorphGrid, a new primitive type that places a network of handles over a surface and enables designers to push and pull them to shape the terrain without having to import bitmap terrains. Pandromeda also improved the previews of all materials by systematically organizing and displaying them.
MojoWorld 3 is available in Standard (US$199) and Professional ($479) versions. System requirements call for a G4 processor, 32MB Video RAM, QuickTime 5.0, 256MB RAM and 350MB available hard drive space.
