Monkeybread Software has released version 4.2 of its MBS plug-in for REALBasic. The new version improves Cocoa integration and CoreGraphics classes, adds an OpenDialog class, and adds access to the SystemConfiguration Framework. From Monkeybread Software:
The MBS plug-in comprises a collection of several plug-in parts which extend the REALbasic development environment with over 425 classes and 4 controls featuring over 8200 documented functions.
The plug-ins require REALbasi 3.5 or newer. Also required are 50 MB hard disc space and around 16 MB of RAM in addition to the requirements of REALbasic and your operation system itself.
While all plug-in parts compile on Mac OS 8.x, Mac OS 9.x, Mac OS X and Windows, each function may depend on additional system requirements to work successfully. Some plugin parts support Linux.
Following are the major changes to the plug-in collection:
- Improved Cocoa Integration
- Improved CoreGraphics classes
- Added Opendialog class with multiple selection support.
- Classes to access the SystemConfiguration Framework.
And a lot of small changes & fixes requested by our users.
The MBS 4.2 plug-in is available now. Monkeybread software also offers online documentation. Business MBS licenses are available for 80 Euros, with an educational/individual license available for 40 Euros.
