Monty Python’s Holy Grail Done With LEGOs

· by · Columns and Opinions

We think it a safe bet that there are quite a few Monty Python fans numbered among the ranks of Mac users. If you are one of them, prepare for what we think is not only a Cool Waste of Time, but a Very Cool Waste of Time. The LEGO Group has a section of its site called The LEGO Studio, which is dedicated to making animations with LEGOs. Seriously. This stuff is on a par with the ASCII Star Wars movie.

TMO Forum Member Jinkies420 tipped us off to the fact that there is a new movie being featured on the LEGO site, and itis a coproduction of LEGO Studios and Python (Monty) Pictures. Thatis right, itis Monty Python & The Holy Grail done with LEGOs, and the sound (talking, singing, & effects) are all from the original movie. Who could possibly ask for more? The scene is the one when King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table are preparing to go to Camelot...

This is a screen shot, but if you click on it, you will be taken to the movie.

You can see the movie at The LEGO Studio Web site. You can also find "Dino Cop," "Jewel Quest," and "Jurassic Bark" in the "More Movies" section. Thanks to TMO Forum member Jinkies420 for tipping us off on this little gem; if you have a Cool Waste of Time for us, let us know!
