MAKI Enterprise has updated their multilingual e-mail client, Magellan, to version 1.9. Magellan is a full-featured e-mail client with support for over 60 languages allowing international users to communicate more easily. According to MAKI Enterprise:
MAKI Enterprise Inc. releases new version of multilingual email client software Magellan. This version 1.9 is minor update of 1.8.2.
New feature:
- Handling method of maiil database has greatly improved for speed.
- Action of View also improved. Even thousands of mail messages can be shown in a second.
- The option in the Vew setting for hiding mails from other Views. You can handle message from mailing list more easily.
Magellan allows users to:
- Send and receive multilingual e-mail. Any languages will correctly be sent and received.
- Send and receive e-mail message containing any plural languages.
- Not only unicode but newly created MultiScript encoding is adopted.
- Read messages in "View." View is an epoch-making management way of e-mail messages, different
- m folder or filter system.
- Create Text clip which replaced "signature" and is more flexible and free.
- More powerful find feature supporting fuzzy search by Sherlock. (Find by Contents)
- RightToLeft / LeftToRight typing and indication is supported.
- Download large size message or attachment file later, skip e-mail.
- The function is for faster mail checking!
