MumboJumbo Releases Super Collapse II

While the original Super Collapse was a game of furious clicking, Super Collapse II adds an element of strategy. Super Collapse II offers four modes of play. Traditional, Relapse, which is similar to Traditional except the blocks come from both the top and the bottom, and two modes that require strategy: Puzzle and Strategy. From MumboJumbo:

Just when you thought it was safe to take a break from work, MumboJumbo, a subsidiary of United Developers, LLC announced today the publication of GameHouse Studios Super Collapse! II? for the Windows and Macintosh operating systems.

"Super Collapse! II is probably more addictive than the first one, if that?s possible," said Henry Price, Director of Sales for MumboJumbo. "Its new game modes will keep even veteran Super Collapse players burning the midnight oil as they ponder strategies."

The objective is to collapse blocks before they rise to the top of the screen, with game play accelerating as players progress to new levels.? The game features bonus levels that are not available on previous versions, in addition to a host of other features such as the ability to play in full screen or in a window, a high score board for each game mode, two skill levels, and the option to start new games on any of the first ten levels.

Super Collapse! II builds on the gameplay offered in Super Collapse! with four distinct modes:

  • Traditional: The original game that hooked so many players
  • Puzzle: Ten brainteasers that challenge players to clear the screen with only the blocks provided to them
  • Relapse: The blocks enter from the top and bottom of the screen, forcing players to keep an eye on two piles of blocks at the same time
  • Strategy: Gamers must think ahead by pushing up a new row of blocks every time they click to clear a few from the screen.

Both the Puzzle and Strategy modes place the emphasis on thinking ahead, allowing players to take as long as they need to make a move, while Traditional and Relapse require the quick clicking that some gamers thrive on.
