NEC Debuts New LCD Displays

NEC Display Solutions of America announced Tuesday three new models of its MultiSync 70 Series LCD desktop display family in 17-, 19- and 21-inch sizes.

The new NEC MultiSync LCD1770VX and LCD1970VX models replace the out-going LCD1770V and LCD1970V displays and include NECis Ambix dual input technology with both an analog input and a DVI connection.

The NEC MultiSync LCD2170NX has a 21-inch viewable screen image, a 1600 x 1200 native resolution, an eight-millisecond response time, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio, and a fully integrated four-port powered USB Hub.

The LCD1770VX will retail for US$345, $460 for the LCD1970VX and $1,180 for the LCD2170NX. All of the new displays are available immediately.
