Netflix Launches HD Streaming

Netflix customers who have an Intel-based Macintosh can now receive streamed SD movies as part of the Netflix beta test program. For those wanting streamed HD movies, there are other options, including the Apple TV. However, Netflix isnit standing still and is planning to make HD movies available to the Xbox 360 and Roku system for starters. In an iPod Observer special report, the Netflix move into high definition video via the Internet is examined.
