New Desktops At Mandolux

· by Mike Washlesky · News

Mandolux has released new desktops for download. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent the latest American tactical fighters and abstract imagery. According to Mandolux:

I would like to inform you that Mandolux has issued 12 new desktops representing a new series called XB-70 Valkyrie and continuation of the Vector (Blue Eye), Technosis/Anthraxis (Grass), and F-22 Raptor.

About the desktops:

  • The Valkyrie series are about an old project to create a super-sonic bomber capable of traveling and fulfilling its mission at a speed of Mach 3 (2,056 mph or 3,310 km/h)
  • The desktops are called ‘The Valkyrie, Close-up View, Takeoff, Ugly Hills, and The Valkyrie and X-15.’
  • The new Vector-based desktop is called Blue Eye and it’s a drawing of the area around the eye of a woman. It’s simple and enigmatic with its earth tones and bluish eye
  • The new Technosis/Anthraxis desktop is called ‘Grass’ and its just that – a picture of green grass. It’s really cool!
  • The new F-22 Raptor desktops are called ‘A Sunny Day, Cute Clouds, Killer Fumes, Ocean Waves, and Rocky High.’ This update has only excellent desktops so I won’t describe individually.

You can find more information about the new desktops at the Mandolux Web site. The desktops are available as free downloads.
