Mandolux has released new desktops for download. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent several different themes including absract imagery. According to Mandolux:
Mandolux has issued sixteen new desktops: three Giant Petals (nature), one Fiery (chimney), two Halloween reissues (skulls/flames/disturbing), five SR-71 Blackbirds (aerospace), and five Cathay Pacific (aerospace/airline) desktops.
About the desktops:
- The new Giant Petals set is named Lisbet and it is a picture of a Tiger Lilly at the macro-view. The desktop is truly relaxing and pleasant to the eye/desktop. It is available in giant (1920x1200) and dual monitor setup (1600x1200, 1280x1024, 1152x864, and 1024x768)
- The new Fiery desktop is called Johanna and it is a picture of some logs burning in a chimney. Its pretty cool to have on a desktop
- The Halloween reissue is a set of two desktops called Dead Rose (Xenophobia). It is a picture of a big skull flooding in a sea of flames with other smaller skulls around. The desktop is available in normal and inverted flames
- The new SR-71 Blackbird desktops are some of the best yet! They are called Side Bullet, Blue Take-off, Finding a Way, Rumbling Background, and Night Splendor (WOW)
- Lastly, the new Cathay Pacific desktops are awesome. They are called Another Beauty Shot, Everetts 34L-16R, and Lost Hills. Another Beauty Shot is a awesome picture of a Boeing 747 jumbo jet been taxied away
