New Desktops At Mandolux

Mandolux has released new desktops for download. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent anywhere from abstract imagery to dual monitor desktop configs. According to Mandolux:

I would like to inform you that mandolux has issued five new desktops – one Surfing (Hula Girl/Vector), one Technosis/Anthraxis (Abstract), two G5 (Abstract/Vector), and one CAP (Chicago Cubs).

About the desktops:

  • The latest Surfing-based desktop is titled Hula Girl and that’s what it is – a vector-based girl doing her thing by the beach with a few palms in the background
  • The new Technosis/Anthraxis desktop is titled Marshmallows and is a very abstract desktop with many pastels as part of the composition. It’s a wonderful desktop to have – this is wallpaper that grows on you
  • In commemoration of the new PowerMac G5, I made two simple desktops in celebration of such a killer machine. Using a simple bubble pattern and the photograph of the G5, this composition is a smooth desktop with a bluish color theme. The desktop is available in both normal and inverted forms
  • Lastly, ever since I started my CAPS theme of desktops, I’ve been asked for a Chicago Cubs ever since and finally there is one available for download. I have to say that of all baseball fans, Cubs fans are the most hardcore (hopefully, this will stop the nasty emails from Cubs fans who were upset about the White Sox desktop)

You can find more information about the new desktops at the Mandolux Web site. The desktops are available as free downloads.
