New Desktops At Mandolux

Mandolux has released new desktops for download. The desktops are images for use as the background on Macs, and represent anywhere from abstract imagery to dual monitor desktop configs. According to Mandolux:

Mandolux has issued eight new desktops: four Sulfuric/Vector-based (Abstract/Landscape), two Surfing/Vector-based (Abstract/Stylized), and two Auguste Rodin (Art).

About the desktops:

  • The latest addition to the Vector/Sulfuric sub-theme is titled COURT and it is a vectorize work from a photograph I took while driving. The composition contains mainly freeways, a palm landscape, and the Los Angeles Airport Court House. The desktop is available in Giant (1920x1200, 1440x900), Dual Monitor, and regular setups
  • There is a new Surfing desktop titled Hawaii – a stylized woman with a flower in her hair looking right in a wonderful blue background. The desktop is available in Giant (1920x1200, 1440x900) and regular setups
  • Lastly, there is a new Auguste Rodin desktop titled The Crouching Woman (1880-82). A photograph concentrating in the upper section of the statue - the desktop has a reddish patina and it is available in both normal and letterbox

You can find more information about the new desktops at the Mandolux Web site. The desktops are available as free downloads.
