New Palm Synching From Power On Software

Power On Software has released a beta version of Now Up-to-Date & Contact. The beta version is designed for synching Palm devices to a Mac, and allow users the ability to communicate contacts and scheduling between a Palm device. The app also features the OS X conduit architecture and supports pre-OS X versions. Accordng to Power on Software:

The Palm conduits allow users of Now Up-to-Date & Contact to synchronize their schedules and contacts with their Palm computing handheld devices, including products from Handspring.

The update permits synchronization using the new OS X native conduit architecture, even on machines containing Mac OS 9.x and Mac OS X on the same partition of their hard drive. Power On has enhanced the safety of the synchronization process by providing backup capabilities so that users can revert to pre-synchronization status if they desire.
