New Skype Beta 2.7 Adds Leopard, VGA Support

The Skype Beta for Mac OS X version 2.7 has been out since August 15th. However, the latest version of the Beta, 2.7.0.195, adds Leopard support and VGA graphics.

Skypeis announcement said: "your video conversations are now set at a whopping 640 x 480 pixels by default with up to 25 frames per second. If your webcam can handle this resolution you?ll soon be appearing in an improved and bigger format on friends screens."

Skype 2.7 Beta for Mac requires a G4/800 MHz or faster and Mac OS X 10.3.9. The higher reolution video requires an Intel Core 2 Duo and a broadband connection. The Skype application is free.
