New Trailer for "The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring" Available In QuickTime

Late last night, following the premier of the new theatrical trailer for The Lord of the Rings: Fellowship of the Ring during the WBis presentation of Angel, the trailer was also posted online at the movieis web site (requires QuickTime 5.02). The theatrical trailer, nearly three minutes in length, features a hefty helping of new footage and is available for consumption in four different sizes, including a full screen version. Each size can be obtained uncompressed, as a .sit archive, or as a .zip archive.

The demand for the trailers in the first twelve hours took its toll on the servers hosting the movies, making the files virtually inaccessible to most people. Bandwidth now has been increased to accommodate the extreme demand and downloading is once again possible at reasonable speeds.

You can download the trailer directly from Appleis Web site. There are a variety of sizes available to accommodate your connection speed. You can find more information on the movie itself at its site.
