Newer Technology, Inc. (NewerTech) has dropped the prices of its 60- and 67-watt-hour batteries for 17-inch G4 PowerBooks. The prices are now US$129.99 and $149.99, respectively. The company said that the 60-watt-hour version provides up to 9% more capacity than Appleis OEM battery while the 67-watt-hour one offers up to 21% more capacity.
