Newer Technology announced the immediate availability of the NewerTech Intelligent Battery Charger/Conditioner for G4 PowerBooks and newer G3 and G4 iBooks on Tuesday. The charger can hold and charge two batteries at the same time, and one of the charging bays also conditions a battery. Newer Technology states that conditioning a battery will extend its life, as well as recovering some usefulness from old and worn out batteries. The Intelligent Charger/Conditioner is priced at US$149.95.
