NewsHunter Updated With New Download Engine

Parker Software Development, Inc. has released an update for NewsHunter, bringing it to version 2.0.4. NewsHunter is an automatic download utility designed for Usenet newsgroups. The update features bug fixes and performance enhancements including a more efficient download engine. According to Parker Software Development:

Parker Software Development has released NewsHunter 2.0.4.

NewsHunter is an application that automates the process of downloading images and files from Usenet newsgroups. NewsHunter runs under OS X.

New in 2.0.4:

  • A bug introduced in version 2.0.3 that caused the MasterSplitter utility to assemble and decode files incorrectly has been fixed
  • NewsHunter 2.0.4 sports a newer, more efficient download engine
  • Friend Filters
  • Text Tags Now Supported in the Picture Posting Window
  • NewsHunter now has a Recent Documents menu
  • Decoding Tab More Responsive
