We received a note from Andrew Fujimura of Five Dollar Software, a new group working on making Mac and Newton shareware titles. Five Dollar Software is comprised of three teens, all of whom share a love for both the Mac and the Newton. According to Five Dollar Software:
I just wanted to tell you about Five Dollar Shareware which is making shareware products for both the Mac and The Newton. There are three of us making these programs in our free time, two 15 year olds and one 16 year old. We have two games planed, one for the Newton and another for the Mac. They are hopefully going to be released at Christmas. I just want to make sure that people know about us and our products.
Though they have not yet released any finished products, their first project is called Newtwar, a networking war game for the Newton. You can find more information on Five Dollar Software at their Web site.
