· by Mike Washlesky · News

Rainer Brockerhoff has released a new app for Mac users, Nudge 1.0. Nudge is a contextual menu utility designed for OS X. The app features folder display updating and other changes. According to Rainer Brockerhoff:

Rainer Brockerhoff announces the release of version 1.0 of Nudge, a contextual menu for the Mac OS X Finder.

The current Finder doesnit always update folder contents, sizes or file attributes instantaneously, as many programs donit generate the necessary notification. Select any Finder item(s) and Nudge will ask the Finder to update its display. On Mac OS X 10.3 (Panther) and up, you can control-click on the empty space in any Finder window and have the contextual menu act on the containing folder.

You can find more information about the Nudge release at the Rainer Brockerhoff Web site. Nudge is available as donationware.
