ODBC Router Adds FileMaker Pro 7 Support

August Software on Tuesday announced an update to its ODBC Router software. The product is a database networking system that provides a universal ODBC driver for Mac ("Classic" and OS X), Windows and Linux systems and delivers simultaneous access to the database software installed on a central NT/2K server.

The new version supports FileMaker Pro 7, improves support for Microsoft Office v.X, and enables automatic translation of extended European characters between Mac, Windows and Linux. ODBC Router enables Mac and Linux users to access database systems using Open Database Connectivity (ODBC) networking.
