We received a note from Rob Griffiths of MacOSXHints.com about a new OS X guidebook that he has made available for download. The guidebook is designed to help users understand and work with some specific portions of Mac OS X, and is being released as Shareware. From Rob Griffiths:
Back in April, I wrote a short (12 page) OS X Guidebook which wound up being downloaded over 22,000 times. This weekend, I released its successor, The Mac OS X Solutions Guidebook. This is a 65 page document covering the dock, the Finder, general advice, some key apps, and a relatively in-depth selection of UNIX hints. I thought you may find it interesting and newsworthy; itis a isharewarei book with a cost of $10 ($5 for students), but itis completely freely downloadble.
The guidebook is being offered from two download locations, one from MacOSXHints.com, and one at Robis Mac.com Homepage.
