OWC Announces MacBook Memory Upgrades

Other World Computing (OWC) announced on Wednesday the immediate availability of their 1.0, 2.0 and 3.0 GB modules/upgrade kits for the new MacBooks announced May 15th.

Compared to the Apple factory option price to upgrade from 1.0 GB to 2.0 GB (US$175), OWCis memory upgrade kit (2 x 1.0 GB) is priced at US$99.97. In addition, OWC offers a $20 rebate on the trade-in of two Apple 512 MB modules.

OWCis 3.0 GB upgrade (2 GB + 1 GB) for the MacBook, MacBook Pro, and iMac is priced at US$177.99, or $20 less with the same trade-in.

OWC memory is easily user installable with a free online video installation guide and has a lifetime Advance Replacement Warranty.
