Other World Computing (OWC) has dropped the prices of its Mercury Extreme G4 upgrades. The 933MHz upgrade is still US$159, but the others have dropped by $10 to $40 each and now sell for $179 (1GHz), $199 (1.2GHz), $249 (1.4GHz), and $269 (1.5GHz).
All of the upgrades feature 256KB of 1:1 L2 cache and 2MB of L3 cache. Theyire compatible with Mac OS 9.2.1 or Mac OS X v10.0.4 or higher. The Mercury Extreme line works with AGH Graphics (Sawtooth), Gigabit Ethernet, Digital Audio, and Quicksilver G4 Power Macs.
