Other World Computing announced the immediate availability of a 500GB addition to its Neptune FireWire 400 Storage Solution line on Tuesday. The 500GB Neptune drive operates at 7200RPM, includes an 8MB buffer and dual FireWire 400 ports with an Oxford 911+ chip-set. All Neptune drives also include an external power supply and a FireWire cable. The 500GB Neptune FireWire 400 drive is priced at US$369.99.
OWC also lowered the pricing on the rest of its Neptune line. Prices range from $99.95 for the 80GB model, up to $259.99 for the 400GB model.
